So Max is the son of famous film director John Landis. He used his fathers influence to sell a few scripts (Chronicle, Bright, a few others) and gained a sort of cult following online along the way by appearing on podcasts and other online movie based shows. People liked hearing him talk about movies.
When The Last Jedi came out, Max caused a bit of a stir by saying the character Rey is a mary sue. Jenny made posts on her tumblr making fun of him for it, and she brought him up in one of her ramble videos saying that he was dumb for what he said. Then one day, out of the blue, Max sends Jenny a tweet saying "Get a better camera." Jenny responded to the tweet by saying "Hang out with me!" And so he did…
He would eventually go on her show Millennial Falcon, and they would begin hanging out regularly. They would tweet super flirtatious tweets back and forth on a regular basis, even though Max had a girlfriend that Jenny had met.
In late 2017, a bunch of people on twitter began accusing Max of some sort of inappropriate behavior, though none of the tweets would specify what he did or who he did it to. This would cause Max to delete his twitter and stop posting to Instagram for about 5 months. When he finally started posting again on Instagram, Jenny would appear regularly on his stories. They were usually hanging out at bars. She would show up at least once a month on there.
This continued until 2019, when Max's girlfriend Anni made a social media post saying that Max was abusive and she was sorry for defending him all that time. At this time, several other woman came out with more specific instances of his wrongdoing, with 3 different ex-girlfriends of his saying he would get angry and choke them. An article was published by the dailey beast which uncovered rape allegations from when max was in college and several woman who worked on his show claimed he had sexually harassed them. Jenny has never been seen to publicly interact with him again since then, though he still likes her Instagram posts sometimes.
I may be missing some key points which some other anons can remind us of, and also be aware several anaons on here are cucks who, rather than fantasize about themselves being with Jenny, fantasize about Max and Jenny being together.
