>>30515Yes. I believe she mentioned it once in a throwaway line somewhere, but in my mind I had mixed together the SW Land Prequel and the Avatarland Deepdive, because I watched them out of order and they are both about alien planets.
If you look at her videos in order, I think even she was getting fed up with SW shortly after with all the content about TROS. If it were modern Jenny, "Galaxy's Edge: Part 1-6" would have been on Patreon in two installments (maybe in lieu of a ramble), but it would never be done and join the growing heap of projects never to be finished.
Actually, now that I think about it, the 'discarded ideas'ramble (or similar) may have been the one where she mentioned that the 'prequel' never got a follow-up.

Did Jenny go to Coachella this year why she's been so quiet these past couple of days?
>>30512Jenny's biggest disappointment with the hotel seemed to be caused by her imagination. It ran wild before her trip and was far more in-depth in her head than it could ever be in reality.
No.30520
>>30519Yes and no. Her expectations were (probably unreasonably) high, but the promo material also wildly overpromised while the experience underdelivered on even reasonable expectations.

Judging by the ramble vote, the winner seems to be Disney's 100th FLOPiversary: Jenny's Take On Why It Underwhelmed & How She'd Fix It with 1447 votes. Second place is the vastly more interesting Church of the Rock 2024 Easter Play review with 1389, and third is Jenny's Favorite and Least Favorite Plot Twists of All Time (Books, songs, films, TV, etc) with 1207.
No.30524
>>30523We already had an entire video dedicated to these Easter plays and I think some people changed their votes after Jenny tweeted about this year’s play being underwhelming.
Her fandom has a habit of latching on to really uninteresting things just because Jenny dedicated a video to it. Tell me you’d actually watch these plays in your own time?

>>30528>>30527>why dont they just buy the multi billion dollar franchise from her? lol? am i right?Disney bought out Lucas and did not regret it (unlike many fans).
And unlike Lucasfilm, there are only a few people actually dependent on JKR and with a big wad of cash and ongoing royalties she is set for life for good.
Her writing is not getting any better I have been told, so why not sell it all and relinquish control of the brand?
If she really feels like she needs a creative outlet in her mansion, she can write a new series.

>>30529>and did not regret itAre you serious? It's been a financial disaster. But this is not the topic. Regarding JK, perhaps someone might take a minute to check what normal, off-twitter people actually think. Normal Friday night movie ticket buyers probably think she's right

jennys getting uppity again, calling people phobes and ists in replies. I never understand why she does this when it eventually circles round on her. maybe its her "womans time"

>>30531None of her other dunderheaded tweets were really getting any kind of traction; this is just her looking for attention as usual and screeching about the trans back in the day used to get all the Twitter heads riled up.
>>30528Looks like Griff was in the tower of terror photo; could be a friend or someone who helped work on the show? Even if it was a date, much like everyone else said about her in high school, I doubt it ever got anywhere.

Lol jenny is suffering the narcissism of small differences.

>>30451>I think fans are just hungry for "relevant" or new Jenny-verse content. She's not going to talk about Star Wars, do any book reads, skits or any of the old stuff everyone loved because she's stuck on these bloated, wiki-style videos that take 20+ months to produce now, so a ramble on something current is very appealing. That's fair, I just find the church play stuff extremely boring and uninteresting. You can find equally (or more) cringe local theater productions almost anywhere. I'd take more Evermore because at least that's a uniquely weird thing for Jenny to hyperfixate on.
No.30544
did jenny go on a trip? no tweet in 4 days
No.30545
>>30542There could be room for both, easy. The church play video is comparatively low effort. Plenty of editing because she has so much source content to watch, but there are just some base observations, she has obviously done 0 research. You can tell especially when she does not recognise songs ("they must have taken a song and change the lyrics to Captain Jack") or get jokes (Mennonites being pacifists and speaking Middle German). No follow-up on who the performers are outside of the plays or if they have ever done anything else. Typical streamer content, which would have been fine for a filler video or a ramble. She could have even make it last by watching 2-3 plays a year for a few years as a ramble (for the easter month).
It's similar to the Hallmark video for me. And I prefer the long essays as well, but compared to year long absences I'd rather get 3 lower effort 20min "commentaries" plus an essay than what we get now.
But that is how she gets people on Patreon, I guess.

>>30544Weekly check in…no updates but I guess this time it's because Jenny's on a trip, maybe with a boyfriend as she's not getting any younger and clearly isn't working.
We'll see pictures posted in a few days if she is traveling once she's back and feels safe to ensure nobody knows she's in Germany or France.
Oh and JK Rowling and her descendants will own the full rights to Harry Potter for the next thousand years.

- personal Polaroids surprised me. She is usually so guarded about personal stuff, this really connected with me.
- FNAF is dead. Noooo! Don't care for fnaf, but the last "off the cuff" video about Dear Evan Hansen was so good! It hit all the notes, despite being "only" an hour long: interesting to watch yet sleepable on the 3+ watch.
