Yes sir, our benefactor-from-the-shadows is telling me that it's entirely possible to get a wiki stapled to badcars. It's going to take a while to hash out, so don't expect it to magically sprout from the ground any time soon. Once things get ironed out, whenever that happens, I was naturally thinking that I would gift moderation to the lad/lads who were so wronged by wikitubia.
>Just Jenny or everyone in the Jennyverse?
The Jennyverse, of course. The only restrictions we should probably enforce is her personal family like ma and pa Nicholson and anything dox-esque, but beyond that it'd work like any other fan wiki.
Now, in checking poster history, it would seem that the creator of the wiki thread is only showing up as having posted in the wiki thread. I 'd look through the generals but I'm gonna go ahead and guess that it'd end up in the same dead end where, when/if it came to asking for a throwaway email to hand out mod cred, it'd still be the same shot in the dark as to whether I'm giving it to the same person. I guess it'd come down the honor system in somebody claiming to be the author/s. I'm still not sure if who wrote the Jenny article also wrote the Bailey. If it's being implied that it's you, good enough for me if nobody says otherwise.

dc904 No.120
>>119Of course I can, although it's seemingly to a limited degree. You made those two new banners and a couple posts in the general. Not as extensive as would be helpful in the rare situations like this. Don't worry, it's not like I know where you live. There's no gigs of dossiers sitting around.

>>118I'm the wiki creator but I'm paranoid as fuck these days so I only post wiki related stuff via a VPN. I know it's an anon board but Bailey is out for blood and who knows if Jenny might try legal action if she gets pissed enough. Anyway I can prove my cred if need be.

>>128Alright, here's what we're looking at here. If you're expecting an email that's directly hosted on badcars, I'm not seeing the means to do that. I suppose I could see if it's possible to slap something on like we're slapping on the wiki. Maybe we can get that done by the time the wiki's wrapped up. But at the moment, that meme account is my best offer. I'm not trying to trigger your paranoia, I just have very little idea what else I can do here for you that feels somewhat secure. The wiki will be "done" soon. If not tonight then I imagine tomorrow. Whether you email me now or later, the wiki's pretty much yours.

Page, I just wanted to tell you you're a formidable editor. I'm impressed by how fast you're building the wiki. If I can help with anything on the tech side let me know, just last night we managed to fix the file pages with Lotso.

>>131Thanks BW! I just read your history of /Jenny/ it was very informative!
Fixing the file upload was a great help, I'm still figuring it out as I go but I'll settle on a consistent format for pictures eventually. Have to say I checked it out on my phone and the wiki looks really good on mobile!
Any feedback on the wiki so far? I'm going as fast as I can but I have a lot of ideas. Things may be a little rough in places but I hope to have it all smoothed out ASAP. I hope to make this the greatest resource for info on the Jennyverse but if things get a little too close to the stalker line just let me know I have no problem changing or deleting things if it keeps the wiki healthy!
c2495 No.133
This is not urgent but something I could really use is more info on people like Griffin and Sky (and maybe Kat?) in order to flesh out their entries a bit. Nothing creepy of course! Just things like birthdays, education, interesting trivia, stuff like that. They're just not as easy to google as some other people.
I'd consider starting a thread on the board but I tried that back when I made the Jenny wiki originally and it didn't work at all!

>>132>your history Well, team effort. He definitely remembers things a lot more clearly than I can.
>smoothed out ASAP>stalker lineThere's absolutely no rush towards anything. Don't trip over yourself thinking there's a deadline. If there's any line to consider, one would imagine it would be at digging up information on personal information like the private lives of family members or home addresses and contact information and the like. Nobody needs to be tracking down anyone to take pictures through their windows or digging through their trashcans.
>>133>GriffinAside from his meltdown at the restaurant and Friendship is Witchcraft, he does have his youtube channel under the name Griffinila he hasn't touched in a year. I thought he had another one where he played video games, might be remembering that wrong. Sky was born Alexander and has >her twitch stream where >she has oh-so-witty banter on Doug Walker, lolcows, people on VRChat and just people in general, plus her doings with the SA community. I know next to nothing about Kat other than she's Asian and use to help edit Jenny's videos when she lived with her.
Are we forgetting about that harpy, Ellis?>starting a threadThe indication I get is that most people don't look outside of whatever general is actively ongoing. It's a very lounging atmosphere.

>>132>Thanks BW! I just read your history of /Jenny/ it was very informative! It was mostly Lotso's work, I just helped clear up some confusion with the timelines.
>Have to say I checked it out on my phone and the wiki looks really good on mobile! That's good to hear, the template is untouched and sometimes they force some really crippled mobile versions.
All the feedback I have to give is how impressed I am with how fast you're producing the content. I'm really hands off when it comes to the content and wouldn't really be a good arbiter of it, I'm not even a board regular. I helped get the site up but only occasionally I show up. Hearing about Bailey's reactions to it is always funny, though.
>>134>Well, team effort. He definitely remembers things a lot more clearly than I can.Yeah I'd say it's 95% your article lol. Other than improving the chronological accuracy and adding the Zach's clash with the Jennyverse I didn't add much to it.
9c0ee No.137
>>134>personal information like the private lives of family members or home addresses and contact informationOh no worries! I was just thinking of a page that listed all of Jenny's favourite things (from her Jenny awards ramble) and then caught myself wondering if maybe that was too "Jenny Shrine in the basement". Clearly not!
>Well, team effortAllow myself to correct myself, good job both of you!
>Are we forgetting about that harpy, Ellis? With Ellis I could write a wiki longer than Jenny's, if anything there is just too much Ellis info out there!
9c0ee No.138
Griffin's lack of an online presence is kind of amazing, it's like he's managed to scrub himself from the internet. I know he talked about himself in some Bronycon panel interviews as soon as I work up the energy to sift trough Brony videos I'll see what I can find. Meanwhile if anyone has actual good info - not stalker stuff, just wiki stuff - Let me know.
I haven't really checked to see how much Kat info I can find but I feel like I have enough stuff in the Sky entry for now. There's just no way I'm sitting through a Skylarky stream for info, I find those impossible to watch.
Then again Sky does have fans among the Badcars for some reason (can't tell if the Onlyfans thing is a joke or not, not checking!) so maybe someone out there has something interesting to add. But for now I declare Sky's entry good enough

>>132Just tested the mobile version today, it's indeed very nice. Minimalistic yet functional. Makes me wonder what went wrong with most sites, it's like a relic from a better past. WAP era mobile sites had the right direction and this thing seems to build on that philosophy. No hamburger menus, apparently not crippled either (I didn't test in depth but it seemed like all the desktop features were available).

OK finally finished the page on Millenial Falcon which took way longer than I thought it would but I do believe it is the only definitive guide to the show on the entire interwebs. Honestly I feel like I put in more effort into MF than Jenny did!
Anyway Lotso, I did add an entire section on Andy Signore and his role in the saga but I didn't delete your entry on the matter, didn't want to step on anyone's toes! Decide for yourself! Either way I think I'm done with the topic, time to move on to others

>>131> If I can help with anything on the tech side let me knowThis isn't urgent and maybe won't make sense until there is more content but it would be cool if the front page could direct people to random articles, the way wikipedia's main page does. I don't know if anything in the Jennypedia shows up in google searches currently so some links on the main page would be helpful for directing visitors to the various topics on offer.
But again, this is a long term goal, for now there aren't enough pages to make that worthwhile I think.
Thanks

>>141>random articleIt was always there, sir. Lend your gaze to the left of the page.
f387a No.143
>>142>Lend your gaze to the left of the page.Oh yeah no I'm aware of the "Random Page" link. Tried it a couple of times to see what it would get me and it's definitely a good way to check out the wiki. Only downside with that is that it can often just show you the same page 3 or 4 times in a row. That's why I was thinking maybe something more central on the Main Page would be helpful especially for newcomers to the site. But like I said, it's certainly not something that's urgently needed.
Not to toot my own horn though but I feel like the Jennypedia is coming along nicely. Plus I don't think we need to worry about Jenny sending in her dad's lawyers because so far I've been unable to get to the wiki via google searches so we're pretty well protected.

>>143Ah, I see. I'll have to wait for BW to arise from the grave to see about working that out.
