Long time /tv/ poster and one of the Macarena/museposters here (not Refn). Up until yesterday I thought Gahoole was a decent guy and BO, but this targeting of Jennyposters/Baileyposters really annoys me.
You guys have been nothing but decent and nice, and this raid business was totally uncalled for and a really shitty thing to do.
Unless Gahoole really decides to go on with this crusade it will blow over; the psychopaths will grow bored and move on fairly soon.
Not sure if I will even continue to frequent tvch because of this shady, underhanded business tbh.

Gahoole has shown his true colours now, and 8ch.moe glows a little too brightly for my tastes to be a permanent home. Not Refn, or Nic, has toyed with the idea of making his own imageboard. Maybe we could team up? Jenny/Baileyposters and museposters coming together?

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here, Gahoole did it as a shitpost and what he believed to be a harmless prank. He actually said the gore and porn spam was fucked up and that he felt bad about that. Naturally, that doesn't excuse it, but he didn't really realize the consequences. It was a spur of the moment shitpost for him. He also wasn't aware that the site wasn't meant to be found super easily. /cow/ is innocent of all this.
All that said, I don't condone what was done and it pissed me off when I saw it happen, having helped build this place myself.

We would make our own imageboard, and there would be nothing centered around Gómez. I would certainly avoid anything that could even remotely negatively affect her in any way. It would just be another imageboard that is part of a smaller webring, where the admin/jannies know each other and can vouch for each other when another site/imageboard is added.
Parts of this webring glow far too brightly for my tastes, and Gahoole is getting too flamboyant for his own good.

IMHO a board owner should not be seen or heard unless he has to make some kind of statement or clarification. If he had kept his YT drama separate from tvch I would not care, but he treats everything as shitposting central, and only God knows what kind of anons we end up having to share boards with if that goes on.
