Sounds tough, is tough, but really, what would you do on a day off? You probably share a room, all your friends are working, there is nothing to do during the day anyway. So having a half day on a port day means you get to go out, which is nice. It is just a different rhythm, since between contracts you have 1 or 2 months off.
